In Minamisoma, Volunteers from Hiroshima Tackle Decontamination of Radioactive Debris Washing In From Ocean

Fishing vessels have been washed up left side of National Highway No. 6 Minamisoma Kashima District in Fukushima Prefecture Earthquake Tsunami, 24 volunteer groups based in Hiroshima, and began decontamination.

Thr Inari Maru owned by Mr. Kimio Sato (6.6 tons), was washed 3 kms from the coast west to the land by the tsunami, it sustained relatively small hull damage.

The volunteer decontamination organization was formed in August. That around 200 members aged 60 and over experienced engineers.
