Thanks Jack. We visited the Mutsu facility when we were over there last year, but I wasn’t aware of the dry cask storage at Fukushima Dai-ichi. Thanks for passing this along.

Out of curiosity about spent fuel storage at the reactor site in question I ran across the attached presentation that describes all fuel storage at the site and identifies what could be described as a dry fuel storage research facility where they take a cask out every five years and open it up.

Interesting.
