In a municipal baseball field approximately 3 km from Fukushima Daiichi, temporary workers store bags of radioactive waste in the open air.  Workers wear heavy outfits and masks and told the Yomiuri reporters that the equipment causes their hands to go numb, and makes it hard to breathe.

Radiation levels in the area are over 70 uSv/hour in some places.
