The Japan Atomic Energy Agency said Thursday that devices to detect sodium leakage from its Monju prototype fast breeder nuclear reactor temporarily stopped working during the afternoon.

The agency later confirmed that all 10 such systems had stopped working, with records showing they likely went offline around 11:40 a.m, no problems were found and the devices were back online around 7 hours later.
