Flounder caught off Ibaraki Prefecture found with Cesium contamination over national standards

The central government of Japan has halted shipments of flounder caught off the coast of Ibaraki Prefecture after finding levels of cesium contamination over 100 becquerel per kilogram national health standards.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the flounder caught within the last six days was measured at 160 Becquerels.
