A non-licensed employee supervisor had a confirmed positive for alcohol during a follow-up fitness for duty test. The employee’s unescorted access to the plant has been terminated. Contact the Headquarters Operations Officer for additional details.

The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector.

  1. Alcoholics. Drug Addicts. These are the people who hold the lifes and safety of our planet in their hands and all they get is a slap on that hand>?>?
    It should be automatic dismissal for testing positive. NRC is taking this way to lightly and should be held accountable, after a disaster it will be to late.

  2. Does anyone know how to report a Plant Vogtle worker who is not only selling marijuana & meth at the plant, but is also using the drugs while at work!! Ronnie York is the guys name, he is an electrician. How can a guy convicted of multiple domestic violence charges pass their background check? I guess it doesn’t matter if the man terrorizes his family as long as he shows up for work huh? The guy is a real piece of work.. I’d hate for someone to get hurt or worse because this guy is allowed to do whatever he wants because he works for a subcontractor.
