TEPCO workers remove both spent fuel assemblies from Fukushima Daiichi Reactor 4 Spent Fuel Pool

The operation spanned July 18th, and 19th, and was heavily covered by Japanese media in helicopters, despite requests from TEPCO for the event not to be recorded.

The two rods removed are among 204 that have not been used to generate power.  The radiation level of new fuel assemblies is usually about 25μSv/h.
