Fermi supervisor confirmed positive for alcohol during a for cause fitness-for-duty test

A supervisor at the Fermi nuclear power plant is reported to have confirmed positive for alcohol during a for cause fitness-for-duty test, and subsequently the employee’s unescorted access has been terminated.

The Fermi Unit 2 reactor was shut down for a month due to equipment failures.
