Tetrapod robot used to investigate vent pipe of Fukushima Daiichi Unit 2

Workers at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant used a quadrupedal walking robot to investigate the vent pipe area in the Unit 2 reactor building.

The investigation revealed no evidence of water leakage from the edge of the vent pipe sleeve, the sand cushion drain pipe, or the lower part of the vent pipe bellows cover.
