Officials from Southern California Edison’s San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station will host an open house on Thursday, March 21, from 4:30-7:30 pm at the Oceanside Public Library, 330 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA.

The free event features an interactive exhibit which demonstrates how a nuclear power plant works.  Plant representatives will offer information in various areas, such as: mechanism of nuclear power plants, steam generators, emergency planning, radiation, security, environmental activities, and community partnerships.
